2026 Softball Spring Pitching Clinic
Spring is almost here — and we’re excited to announce a Spring Pitching Clinic for kids who want to learn to pitch or take the next step with better mechanics, more confidence, and more reps in a fun, supportive environment. This clinic is only available to players registered for Spring Rec Softball. (More details on Spring Rec Softball coming soon… get excited!)
Why we’re doing this: Pitching is one of the hardest (and most rewarding) skills in softball — and the only way to improve is great instruction + consistent repetition. That’s why we’re bringing in Coach Courtney from Diamond Elite Softball — one of the top pitching programs in the area — to run these sessions.
About Diamond Elite: Diamond Elite (founded by Harley Rose, former college softball standout) has helped develop many local pitchers who have gone on to D1 programs. Recent examples include Ava Kelshaw (Mount St. Dominic) to Michigan and Riley Bobrowski (Watchung Hills) to Villanova. They also work with strong local players, including Hannah Jacobson (Summit HS).
How the sessions work
Each week will focus on strong pitching foundations: mechanics, balance, arm circle, release, accuracy, and simple progressions. The sessions will build week-to-week, but each clinic also stands on its own — so if a player has to miss a week, they won’t be “lost” when they return.
Spots are limited
We’re limiting each session to 12 kids to keep the instruction high-quality. We may combine sessions or add a session depending on demand, so please only register if you have flexibility between 4:00–6:00 PM.

Important note: We will not be issuing refunds for this clinic, as SSBL is subsidizing the cost and paying in advance.
